The lamp works in 3 different modes selectable from the rocker switch.
Mode 1 (OFF mode): Turns off the lamp permanently.
Mode 2 (IR mode): Infrared mode works in two ways -
a) Motion sensing – light turns on when a human body passes in the vicinity. Light stays on for 30sec and goes off if no further motion is detected.
b) Environment sensing – light turns on when the ambient light goes below 10 lux.
Mode 3 (ON mode): light turns on permanently at 100 lm.THE PERFECT ADD-ON TO YOUR HOME SYSTEM:
The Sun King motion sensing lamp uses infrared technology that responds to physical movement and environmental light levels. In IR mode, it can detect motion at a distance of 10 meters directly in front of it and five meters around its periphery. It will also turn on automatically when the area of coverage gets sufficiently dark. Besides making it suitable for security lighting around the home, the infrared function makes the lamp a cost effective option for outdoor applications.
