In a hybrid solar power plant with lithium battery, the power generated from solar panels is either stored in a battery or is converted to AC power using an inverter. It is then fed to the grid either via 440/220 Volt three/single phase line depending on the capacity of the system installed. These solar plants generate power during the day time which is utilized to charge its lithium battery bank and power captive loads. Exccess power can be fed into the grid as long as grid is available and you have a net meter installed. In case, where solar power is not sufficient due to cloud cover etc., the captive loads are served by drawing power from the grid or battery.
 
The prices quoted are for UTL Topcon Bifacial Halfcut solar panels having an efficiency greater than 22.75 %. These panels fulfill the DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) mandated by the MNRE ( Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India) for installing solar plants under all subsidy schemes of the government.
 
The system also includes a UTL Lithium Battery compatible hybrid solar PCU and a UTL Lithium Battery which has a 3500 charging cycle lifespan. These batteries can typically last for 12+ years maintainence free.
