This high altitude biodigester tank comes with 100 mm PUF insulation and 100 watt heating elements with thermostat inbuilt.
 
The high altitude biodigester technology is a clean technology that does not pollute ground water. The outlet water is enriched with minerals and is odorless, colorless and free of pathogens and can be used for gardening or recycled for flushing.
The technology requires electricity to maintain the temperature in the tank suitable for sustainence of the bacteria culture in sub zero temperature conditions. The sewage treatement (methanization) takes place in an anaerobic environment in a sealed container primarily due to bacterial activity.
There is no sedimentation and therefore the tank does not require evacuation at all.
As the effluent water is safe, post secondary treatement like a reed bed, it can be used wherever there is a lack of sewage or drainage systems.
Most importantly, the high altitude biodigester is to be charged with the bacterial enriched inoculums only once at the time of installation and after that the bacterial will multiply automatically.
This technology is suitable for all high altitude and hilly regions where temperature levels drop below 20 degs.
